A Pangdean Barn wedding is perfect for couples that love the outdoors and a rustic feel to a venue. Get married under the apple trees, and mingle with your guests in the blooming gardens full of colour. Then you can even jump up onto the rolling hills for couple portraits. A Pangdean Barn wedding will tick all the boxes for nature and outdoor lovers.
With stunning gardens and a beautiful renovated barn, it’s a picture perfect location that caters for small and large weddings for up to 180 guests. The barn comes fully decorated with fairlights, and lanterns to add a magical element, and you’re welcome to bring any decorations that you desire.
When it comes to the party, there’s ample space for a band and dancing and everything in between. This time around Jen’s and Brigitte opted for ceilidh dancing and took advantage of the huge dance floor, and to top it all off there’s no noise restrictions for the wild party animals! The cherry on top for your Pangdean Barn wedding.
Jens and Brigitte’s kind and thoughtful nature shone through from our very first meeting. They were warm and had a clear vision of their wedding day from the get-go. They loved the outdoors and wanted to incorporate their love for nature throughout the day. They chose to do a first look at Preston Rock Gardens before we headed off to Pangdean Barn together.
Brigitte chose to go makeup free, and elevated her bohemian look with a colourful flower crown. The pair were lost in each other from the get go and Jens couldn’t take his eyes of his future wife for the rest of the day.
The day was filled with colour surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Pangdean Barn. The flowers were in full bloom and the laughter and joy of family and friends was contagious. There was a laidback atmosphere surrounding the whole day, with Brigitte’s aunt playing the guitar at the beginning of the ceremony, whilst the guests awaited the happy couple to make their way down the aisle.
The drinks reception was held on the lawns of Pangdean Barn with games and canapes for guests, which was followed by a sit-down dinner inside the barn. Jens and Brigitte opted to make their wedding cakes, something that they enjoy doing together at home and wanted to share with their family and friends.
The day finished with energetic ceilidh dancing, with all the guests getting involved. This was definitely one of my highlights of the day!
