My name is Olga and I’ve been lucky to travel the world gathering memories, experiences and adventures. After returning I embarked on the exciting new journey of motherhood, whose rollercoaster I’m currently on now. A Londoner at heart, I’ve settled down in Brighton with my husband Mark, our son Reuben and our fiercely independent dog Luna, who came straight from the streets of Bali.
I love being in nature and cloud gazing. Condiments are life, especially miso which tends to make its way into most of my dishes. When not working you can find me playing with my son, travelling as much as I can to where the wind blows, spending time with friends, dancing in the sun covered in glitter. Fun fact about me, every day in February I wear glitter, just to add a bit of sparkle.
As early as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be an artist and that path led me towards a camera. Since then I’ve never looked back. After graduating with a Photography BA from Manchester in 2009 my journey has continued onto many fun and interesting jobs and commissions giving me the opportunity to meet with people from so many different walks of life.
I love people, their emotions and quirks, we’re all so different and fascinating and have something unique to give. To be able to even get a glimpse into someone’s soul is an exciting moment, and I enjoy looking for these moments and seeing the extraordinary in the mundane.
Capturing a fleeting moment, an emotion, a second in time feels like such a precious gift and to be able to share that with the world is a truly special privilege.
Life is built up of many small and wonderful occurrences that will go unnoticed, and it gives me great joy to record these.
