Families are a strange force to be reckoned with. The connections and inner workings of each and every one of them are undeniably unique and interchangeable. We have our loves, our hates, and our quirks that help us move through life together.
Life isn’t scripted. Every minute is a wild rollercoaster and every year flies by in a blink of an eye. We go through roughly 20,000 moments in a waking day and many of those will go forgotten.
With a journalistic and documentary approach, my aim is to record these moments in their truest form and etch them into our memories to help us retain what life was really like in that moment. This is very far from a photoshoot, it’s me and my camera hanging out with you for the day.
The laughs, the tears, the hugs and the fights. It’s all part of what makes us who we are, and what binds us together. No one moment is dull, it’s all a matter of perspective and making what may seem mundane become beautiful is what truly gives me great joy.
To see a snapshot into others’ lives is a privilege that I’m honoured to be a part of.
Life is built up of many small and wonderful occurrences that will go unnoticed, and it gives me great joy to record these.
